It is a hairline fracture. The dr. said it will heal on its own and I will be fine, we don't have to do anything for it. I also have a slightly deviated septum but that could just be my normal nose and not from the head bang.

Julz I am glad it is nothing that will ruin you werdding...
Just think, someday when your kids are telling you how 'lame' you and FH are you can tell them oh yeh, just so you know I broke my nose on my bachlorette party because we were having such a wild time'

you should make some sort of a fake splint for your nose and wear it to her house and explain that it needs to be on for 6 weeks, which means that you'll have to wear it for the wedding.....make her feel really badly about it!!!

OK I called her because I couldn't wait until tomorrow and I was pretending to cry on the phone baout how she ruined my wedding and how I have to wear this big brace on my nose She didn't believe me, when she finally started to believe me I ruined it because I started laughing

I can sympathize. FH fractured my nose VERY early on in our relationship.....like a month and a half in!! I wish one of the stories my friends like to tell is true But the truth is I snuck up on him and startled him, he whipped his head around and WHACK right into my nose! Blood everywhere and I kept telling him, I was fine it was no big deal. One day, two black eyes and a few x-rays later......fractured nose!! We joke by saying that's why we're getting married, because he just couldn't break up with me after that even if he wanted to.

BTW, if you are giving your bridesmaids gifts at the rehearsal dinner, I think you should give the bridesmaid who did this to you and gag 'nose' or one of those joke glasses with the nose attached! I'd totally have a sense of humor about this, does she? If so you could do it!

A little swelling but a stranger wouldn't notice it, only people who know what my normal nose looks like. I should be fine for the wedding.

Thats a good ide! She was so trashed she doesn't really remember it happening, she thought I was making the story up the next day until 2 of my friends that were witnesses told her it did happen. We both have a sense of humor about it... if anything I would expect my fh to be the one getting hurt at his bachelor party
