thought you felt a lump? Sorry this is so random. Recently I have been stressing because i think I feel something, but then again I am not sure what exactly I am feeling for. I think the fear is in my head because my mom died of breast cancer 13 yrs ago and of course it haunts me. Has anyone gone through this? I am scheduling a mamogram hopefully for next week. I am only 25 but I would rather be safe then sorry at this point. and start doing the test annually.
I talk to FH about it and he gets nervous and keeps telling me everything will be ok....but its not like talking to another girl.
I am just stressing BIG TIME!

I felt one. It was so random. I wasn't even doing a self exam. Anyway I made my mom feel it and said felt the same thing I did. Made an appointment with my regular doc who sent me for a mamogram. The lump was begin but I had it and another one they found removed. It's probably nothing but you should definitely get checked out!

I had felt something when I was about 17. Turns out they said it was just a fat lump and nothing to worry about that it would go away. And it did. But definetly get it checked. Espically if your mom had it. You should go for regular mamograms. So make sur eyou get it checked. I am sure it's nothing. But just to be on the safe side. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

benign lumps are extremely common, especially in young women. you are doing the right thing by routine examining and going to the Dr. for any concerns. over time you will get very familiar with all of the breast changes so you will be the best at detecting abnormal changes and will have the best knowledge to protect and defend yourself. and you are helping other people by voicing your concerns because i know im gonna remember to examen myself today and im sure other women will too! let us know how it goes.

Do not worry! I also felt something, it seemed to me it was so big, I got it checked and it turned out to be nothing. I still feel it more before my period, it is normal. Just get it checked by a good doctor, yoiu will be perfectly fine. FM me if you need a referral to the best doctor in NY. Take care
