thought you felt a lump? Sorry this is so random. Recently I have been stressing because i think I feel something, but then again I am not sure what exactly I am feeling for. I think the fear is in my head because my mom died of breast cancer 13 yrs ago and of course it haunts me. Has anyone gone through this? I am scheduling a mamogram hopefully for next week. I am only 25 but I would rather be safe then sorry at this point. and start doing the test annually.
I talk to FH about it and he gets nervous and keeps telling me everything will be ok....but its not like talking to another girl.
I am just stressing BIG TIME!

I felt one., are you feeling it during ur period. IF so, check back after its over., they are common during your period.
I went to the doc about it and it turned out to be Nothing

I am the same way, that's why I see my doctor twice a year just to catch something. no one has had breast cancer in my family, but I'm paranoid eventhough my doctor said it was nothing.

def get it checked by the doc. i feel them all the time and apparently its normal for smaller breasts. so i say get it check better to be safe then sorry especially since your mom had it!

Hey I've been through to breast surgery's for benign tumors. If you have any questions please FM me. One thing I can tell you is if you feel one get it checked ASAP it's probably Fibroidadanoma which is very common but get it checked out and if you are uncomfortable with what you hear get a second opinion. I did and Thank God I did. But don't be scared...and to make u laugh my OBGYN told me I was just lumpy

I understand where your nerves are coming from. I would say check it out to be sure. Again I am sure it i nothing but better safe. I am sure it will make you feel more comfortable. Don't stress to much

How long have u been seeing your GYN? The same one??
If you feel something I think you should wait till after your period (if its that time) and make an appt and let him/her feel for it...
One time I had to see a diff Dr, and she felt it and called all these other drs in and it freaked me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she told me she felt alot of lumps and was all concerned/.....went for some tests and my real dr. came back from vaca and was a lil annoyed....i went thru all that to find out i have lumpy tissue...
If youre concerned and it runs in the family make an appt for the piece of mind.

i have...but not on my breast. it was um.......lower
I went to my OB/GYN and he said it could have been beacuse i started excercising. He said it was a lymphnde(sp?) it happens sometimes when there is a drastic change in your body ( excercising, diet etc.) maybe thats it? i would get it checked either way

I have been seeing the same doc since i was 16.....i totally trust them but my yearly exam is actually scheduled for 2 weeks from now.....i had my period 2 weeks ago and they were lump like usually then....but now its like ok now what? I am definately going to get checked out.......

I never had but my MOH just had to have fatty masses removed.. she was nervous too, however they did testing and found that it was non-cancerous

It is so wierd that you wrote this post, because the other night I woke up in the middle of the night, and for some reason (I was still sleeping I guess), I must have had a dream about having a lump on my breast, and I checked, and I definitley feel something! I am not sure though, because my last gyno told me I have lumpy tissue, but I have to schedule an appointment again to check it out. I keep telling myself it is nothing, and I have no breast cancer in my family, but I am still going to go and get it checked!

Definitely get it checked out. It might be just a cyst. I have cystic breast I call them my lumpy mash potatoes. There not cancer just lumps. I have to get a sonogram every year.

GET IT CHECKED!!!!! Ijsut had one of my friends have apre-cancerous tumor removed from her breast....her mom had breast cancer too...good luck....don't let this linger too long...if its nothing then its done and you dont have to worry about it, but if its something at least you got it sooner then later! GOOD LUCK!

What time of the month is it for you...?
I know that sounds silly...but your breasts change throughout the month with your cycle. Right after your period is when your breasts are the least lumpy....
(this is what my doc said)...
So I say get it checked, and especially get it checked if it's right after your period.....

More than likely, its nothing, but I would get checked ASAP. I've been through this before. I had a lump when I was about 20 that turned out to be a cyst that abcesses (looooong story). It wasn't a big deal, but I felt relieved to know exactly what was going on with my body. Good luck with everything.

Everyone gets nervous in their own way. I am stressing a bit but last night the night out to the showcase with my friends who are also getting married and my fiery red head friend who is one of my BD was great kinda helped me de-stress myself. I break out with hives EVERY morning since i got engaged. I know how you feel. Things will work out just breathe
