SOOOO upset!!!! (photo loc)

so FH tried the hempstead house.. they're booked.. he tried westbury gardens (our fall back).. they're booked, I just called DeServersky and guess what.. THEY'RE BOOKED!

here's the list of places I'm contacting today:

Nassau Musuem of Art- Left Message
Inisfada (Church)- Left Message
NYIT De Serversky- Booked
Webb Institute- Left Message
Planting Field Arboretum- Left Message
Bourne Mansion (Lessings Owned)- Nope, only do photos if wedding is booked there.
st. josaphat monastery tea house- guy who answered said I had to speak to someone who works there, they're doing renovations and he just happened to answer the phone, call back on sunday.

but honestly, they're most likely booked!
I KNEW we should have started this earlier.. but no, we were told we had time


I need a little luck today, I really do! between stressing out over this, FH calling hotels and none of them answering (except garden city and its too expensive) oh and we find out if we get approved for a mortgage today.. so my nerves are shot!

we're at v.e.r.d.i's of westbury, so stonybrook and pt jeff are out.
we did our epics at dowling and they're booked too.

we want a mansion/castle/manor with indoor and outdoor space.

so I also tried Bayard Cutting Arboretum, they don't schedule, you just need to get a permit two weeks before. But they don't allow buses into their parking lot and they don't allow you near the building.
And the woman was a bittch!

I had to wait to hear from Planting Fields..it took forever...did you use this number and times Tel: 516-922-8603 (M-Th 9am – 2pm)

I have an application for Planting Fields if you want it; I can't see how they are booked for your wedding...

yea, thats the number I called- Julie. I left a message, on her VM it says to leave your email address and she will email a permit over.
Does this mean that anyone can get one or is it first come first serve?
do you know if they allow you to do any indoor pictures?

Honestly I would just fill out the application and send it in...the woman never called me, she just sent me the application. I filled it out and gave them $100....

oh, there are no indoor pictures but there is a covered area in case it rains.

I am also looking for a place for photos.
I checked out planting fields on Sunday, but I am not sure I am 100% sold on it.
Did you have any luck with the places you were looking into?
