Sooooo funny....
First I was aggravated because my church singer guy is trying to charge me $400 for PRACTICE for the three songs I want sung at my ceremony! (Grow Old With Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter (quote will be written on the aisle runner), Bless the Broken Road and You Raise Me Up.)
So, I'm all ticked off and I'm telling my fiance that I wrote him an e-mail trying to get the cost down, and I told him that maybe we won't have Grow Old with Me sung... just played on the piano.
My fiance goes.. wait... you're having him sing Grow Old With Me at the CHURCH!?!?!
I'm like, 'yeah... you knew this...' (thinking, great... he thinks it's lame).
He's like... isn't that a little inappropriate to have him sing an Adam Sandler song in a CHURCH?![]()
