O ok... I wasn't aware - must have not read those posts!

Its not that people complained...in defense of those that did.....but there was about 30 nwr topics last week and no one could keep up....and....as Cherese so nicely reminded people because some of the topics were there already....Search Button.

I think some nwr are nice every now and then.....

But maybe those of us that are work can start some new ones today instead of complaining.......

My boss is gone today...so I have nothing better to do

AHH now I have recollection...

all those posts were by one person - I didn't open those posts because I didn't want to be part of a study or project...

I agree - I don't mind them because they make us get to know each other... I just do agree with the search button usage - as well as titles of the threads which make it obvious what it is....

I'm not complaining, I just dont know what to start, I don't want to start NWR posts it might be a problem to some and stir up drama

Well you don't have to start any, no problemo.

But the drama usually starts when it comes to politics or religion.

But hey...I've seen a thread about how much people spend on flowers turn into a nasty cat fight......anything can turn in to drama...the key is working it out and talking it through....that is if you are mature enough.

Honestly (and this might start an argument - but I don't mean it to be) - I think the problem with last week was that there were SOOO many posts started by one person who told us she was doing it for a project and a school study...
(who is no where to be seen anymore)

that's fine if people wanted to respond, but I tried to sift through it and respond to the people who were on this board for help in planning their wedding....

I think at first she was on here for the study, then kept it to wedding planning, but they were repeat questions.

I think that all newbies repeat questions without thinking of searching for them.

Ive got a question? Since ive become quite addicted to this LIW stuff, Im on every night. My FH & I live 2gether & he cannot get over me being online doing this everynight. Checking mail & 'talking to strangers' as he says.. So how about you girls , ? Same prob..

Agreed....and the thing is...things are bound to reappear...and sometimes a repeat thread is okay...epecially since people and ideas change..so its nice to get a new or fresher one.

As for politics and religion..yup...always a sticky subject. But surely those will come up again...But I feel as of lately....people have been mature enough to talk it through....Its just hard to convey ideas and feeling through typing...its different when coming out of your mouth.

What could cause a big cat fight on here...could just as easily be an adult conversation handled nicely in person.

Like I said....I've seen some ridiculous topics get bent out of shape on here...

this is how I felt too. I ENJOY the NWR stuff on the boards, but for a couple of days it felt like an inquisition! I certainly didn't mean to imply that we shouldn't have any NWR.

Totally agree - and now that person is no where to be found...
