soooooooooooooooo not happy right now

soooooooooooooooo not happy right now

i just spent the better part of the last 3 hours lugging my laundry back and forth from the laundry room to get it all done.

I even wimped out and drove it back and forth....but i'm drenched in sweat....and now i need to clean the clothes i was wearing to do laundry

Are clean clothes really all that important?
can't i just throw them out when they're dirty and buy new ones?

Awwhh Lori

You should've come by my house...I have a washer, dryer AND a pool so you could've stayed cool while doing all those nasty chores!

That's wayyyyy disgusting My ex-step niece used to do that. She is a meat cutter at a supermarket in Wantagh and she wears the same shirt M-F. She spritzes a little Febreeze on it daily and she's good to go

Ugh, I was just kidding about that! Luckily we have a washer and dryer in our place so it is really easy to just pop everything in and stay in the a/c!

i think i have to move into the apartment in my parent's house.....it's secluded, bigger than my co-op, and the laundry room is in the basement, right next to the front door of the apartment....laundry would be a pleasure!!!!

Lori, I feel your pain, we actually have to go outside & down the street to do laundry.
Fortunately, DH usually does it!

I love NYC!!! When I first moved here the closest laundry was 12 blocks away. I discovered that there are people that will come and pick it up and bring it back clean!!!!

Re: soooooooooooooooo not happy right now

I definately know what you are talking about. We live in a 1 bedroom apartment and we have to go to the laundry mat. We go on average every 6 weeks. So.....we have a TON of laundry between the two of us! In the summertime, we go at 1:00 in the morning on the weekends. It is just TOO HOT and aggrivating to go during the day!

DH's BF didn't believe that he enough underwear to get through 6 weeks without doubling up. So, I counted on friday......DH has 43 pairs of underwear!!!!! that means I have even more than that!!!!!!

YIKES!

Re: soooooooooooooooo not happy right now

the worst part is that all of that exhausting work gave me a backache......

the good part is that Tom felt bad that I did all of that work and he did the dishes after dinner

My roommate from college used to do that. If she ran out of towels she bought new ones. If she ran out of underwear, she bought new ones. What can I say, she was loaded and could afford to do that.
