Uncle Jr. thought Tony was an intruder due to his on set of Altzeheimer's and it looks like Jr. shot him in the upper right torso/shoulder area. Tony struggled to get to the first phone where he was shot and accidentally ripped it from the table when he collapsed. He yelled to Jr. to dial 911, but Jr. was hiding in a closet shaking, and Tony crawled to the kitchen to call 911 and he dialed the number and then passed out.
HOWEVER - when does it take 3 rings for 911 to pick up! OMG!!!!!
Secondly, why was Pussy's wife out with Carmella? And where the hell did that woman get the money to pay for a Corvette?
Lastly - they made a comment in the show that this was the year of the snitches - who do you think is next on the list to be nabbed by the FBI and forced to be an informant?

Based upon the scenes they showed for the entire season before the episode started, I would say he surives. However, I know David Chase (dir/producer?) stated this season was about family values and we all saw how much Tony didn't want to put Jr. into a 'home,' so it should be interesting what the fall out of this will be!

No problem! Happy to explain! This is one of my favorite shows. I missed Sex and City and only started watching on TBS and so I decided to just go out and buy the entire set of this show as well. I love these HBO shows! They rock!

He didn't play a pivitol role in the last few seasons, but did have appearances. I think they put him in Sunday's story line to show he was a snitch for the FBI and that he wanted out of it all to move to FL - the year for the snitches as they said in the episode. I wonder who is next!?!

I was so disappointed about no 'scenes', but I guess they're trying to keep us in suspense about what happens to Tony. There's no way he dies because he's in basically every scene in the commercials that preview the season...

I thought that was Tonys little sister....
No - the little sister was the one talking w/Tony while he was on the boat. She was watching Jr. but had an emergency and Tony had to come baby-sit Jr.
