I think, if I read correctly, the new theme is 'Yesterday, Today, and Forever.'

You don't NEED a theme. It's just an extra something if you want to do it. Not everyone has a theme for their wedding.

If you want to add it though, you could put the saying on menus, programs, placecards, favors, invites, cocktail napkins, matchbooks, etc.

If the theme is yesterday, today and forever, try doing pictures throughoutt the RH of you both a babies, kids, teenagers, and now.

My wedding didn't have a theme other than 'classy.' It really doesn't matter! So don't feel like you have to have a theme. We went really simple and it turned out great.

We ALL come from different backgrounds and levels of education!! So some condsideration would be nice!!!!!!!

Your theme is Yesterday, Today and Forever.
To start.. Divided the amount of tables by 3 and have the first set of table numbers as your 'Yesterday Theme' with baby pics, the 2nd set of table numbers 'Today Theme' with recent pics and the last set of table numbers your 'Forever Theme' I'm a little stuck on this one. Do you have any engagement pics?? If so I would use them. I'm not creative but I will let you know if I come up with any other ideas.

So if the theme is. 'Yesterday, Today and Forever'...you could do table numbers with pictures of you guys from different times in your relationship...maybe when you just met, and then an engagement picture or something very recent.

I've also heard of girls doing famous couples from history so that might work with this theme. If you want to incorporate into the ceremony, try to find readings that talk about the past, present and future.

My theme was 'hamsters and other small furry things' which you can adopt if you like that flovor, i'm not sure if you do, but what you could also do to add some more flovor to that theme would be to make the theme more hamster and dumbo flovored.

Just expanding on your idea a little. Maybe for the Forever part, you could put pictures of family members who have had long, happy marriages.

ITA about the picking on-- play nice. I completely understood what she was saying. if you didnt understand you could have just ignored the post.

I love the idea of the table numbers, and for the future ones you can use pictures of your parents or other family members.

I think you could also use that phrase through whatever you do with the wedding-- programs, menus, favor ribbons.

If you havent picked a song to cut your cake to, there is a song called 'Yesterday Today Forever' --by Vicky Beeching-- i think it may be about God and your faith in eachother ect, may not be your thing but it fits the theme. Try doing a google search on 'yesterday today forever' and see if you come up with any ideas..

You can also, Ask whoever is doing your speech or yourselves if you are gving a welcome speech to toast to yestedtay, today and forever.

At the end of the day-- you dont need a theme so dont feel like your wedding is bland wthout one-- it will be great as long as you are happy and surrounded by those who are happy for you-- theme or no theme
