Sorry NO kids at the reception

I knew this was going to happen and I hate it.
Just got my first text, 'Are kids allowed at the reception?'

I hate telling people no. I feel bad, but we just can't afford it.

i never feel bad saying no.

My sister did this and although some ppl in my family didn't like it we are doing the same exact thing! Easiest way to tell ppl just adults

I have a different problem. Lots of children will be there but I really don't want any newborns. How do you say no to only one kid when all the rest are invited?

My sister did it and its hard ppl will get offended but your paying for the wedding now them so why pay for them when they won't be eating anything I know some are free but it's your choice in the end

I was in the same boat I just said no kids... The only kids were having are the ones in the wedding party.... It started some hurtful words with one of my bridemaids but then she came around and understood that she was wrong for assuming. People will understand......

We don't really have many kids to begin with...but technically, I am having BP kids plus my 2 cousins who are ushers, plus 1 cousin who is not in BP...her sister is 20 and shes only like 12, so I couldn't invite one without the other....if anyone says anything I am telling them only First cousins were invited since all of the kids are 2nd cousins. All of my 2nd cousins are like my first cousins since i dont actually have any first cousins

This is why on the RSVP card we put:

'We have reserved ___ seats in your honour' and we are going to fill in the amount of seats. That way they know exactly how many people the invite it meant for.

I have a feeling some people are still not gonna get the hint!

Damn, where were you when I was printing out the response cards lol

The problem is I have a lot of little cousins, which are being invited. So I feel bad telling friends with kids, or cousins with kids no. But my lil cousins are really close to me and I have to have them there.
