Sorry to keep you all waiting...SHE IS HERE!!!!
Let me start off by saying that she is absolutely beautiful and we are both doing well....BUT things didn't start off that way.
Monday morning I went to see my doctor for our weekly visit and I was 2cm and 50% effaced and she told me she thought we might get to meet our little one this weekend! Well as I was leaving work we were in a terrible accident! We were T-boned going through an intersection and hit directly on the driver side door. This was absolutely the scarest thing in my entire life! But it was a good thing I was wearing my seatbelt because they told me that probably saved our lives. The accident happened at an intersection right next to a firehouse so they had heard it happen and saw the hole thing and came running out...and one of my cowokers was behind me so she ran over to my car and started to yell to them that I was 9 months pregnant. They came over immediately but I was so scared. The door had bounced off my leg and stomach and somehow my glasses were knocked off my face. They kept asking me questions to make sure I was ok but all I could think about was my baby. They had to cut the door off my car and they immediatly took me to the hospital. I was monitored and checked out and thankfully everything seemed to be ok. My doctor decided to have me admitted and monitored for the night and the next day they decided to induce since I was already 39 weeks and just as a precaution.
So the next day at 11am they started my induction. Contractions really didn't start until almost 1pm but once they started WOW...they came on strong and fast! And on TUesday September 23 at 4:20 pm Adeline Rose was born!
I was so thankful to finally have her in my arms and know that she was ok...someone was really looking out for us that day.
