Looking at posts about RSVPs has gotten me thinking. When should i send out my invitations b/c the wedding is all the way in hawaii. I sent a lot of save the dates but not to everyone.

I'm having a sort-of destination wedding. We're getting married in Connecticut and everyon invited will have to travel at least 2 hours and most will stay overnight. because of this we're sending out STDs to everone just six months before the wedding (so the can't forget!) and then verbally reminding everyone to book travel and hotel rooms. We're only inviting 90 people, so they're people we talk to all the time anyway.

Similar situation to DavaDay, we sent an email STD, but have been reminding people on a personal basis to book hotels so we can get our block size increased.....for example, FMIL emailed out to her side of the family about the hotel as a reminder....you can only do so much to remind people, they're adults, it's on them to figure it out!
