You know what drives me effing nuts....IMPROPER USE / SPELLING of words..

advice vs. advise
to vs. too
weather vs. whether

and the list goes on and on and on and on

Oh, another thing that drives me nuts: POSTS AND TITLES THAT ARE ALL IN CAPS - I KNOW SOMETIMES YOU CAN FORGET THAT THE CAPS LOCKS IS ON, BUT WHEN ALL OR A MAJORITY OF YOUR POSTS ARE ALWAYS IN CAPS, I WANT TO JUMP THROUGH THE EFFING SCREEN AND SHUT THE CAPS LOCKS OFF.

ETA: I hope this doesnt offend anyone and escalate into something unnecessary-we all are who we are and we're guilty of something...I was just ticked off at the moment...and I was trying to spice up our Friday at work

To answer your question, no, I'm not an English teacher.

As far as 'putting in my two CENTS' comment, it was not a 'serious' tone, but going along with the joke.

I completely agree. Maybe I'm a grammar/spelling snob, but it especially drives me nuts when people don't know the difference between your and you're (it's you're right, not your right when you agree with someone), and their, there, and they're.

Oh, and I gave up on the spelling pet peeve...yes, people can't spell (and no, I don't mean those who type fast or who omit letters because they're trying not to get caught at work...I mean those who clearly can't spell and do so on every post)...because it's a lost cause...

ETA: And the grammar errors get to me too...oh well. The 05 chickies give me hell for it...where's KB when you need her?
