sort of WR (anyone have a good relationship...)LONG
with their mother ...but during wedding planning it's getting a bit 'uneasy'???
I truly need to know I am not the only one... She is very excited for the wedding, very involved, and her and my dad are paying for 90% of the wedding....we always got along well...but lately we are snapping with eachother...we went out for my birthday dinner last week and I got very angry with some comments she was making and needless to say BDay dinner was NOT fun... then today we were choosing our menu and something came up about us dancing our first song alone the whole time...and then about the garter and bouq. toss...and the 'different' way we are doing this...I said, this is how we are doing it...we already talked about it' and she snapped and made me feel ridiculous in front of the bouq. manager. She said I had an attitude, which I didnt think I did...
I feel like crap cause this is not like us...we get along well...but I am not happy arguing all the time...
Any advice? Anyone having a similar problem?

we get along ok as it is...but, and how can i say this w/o making her sound horrible....she is just not 'into' the planning aspect of it. i mean she is excited for me and fh, but won't carry on and on about my dress or how i'm wearing my hair.
only advice is that this will pass...she could be stressed too. work or family. if all else fails, try to talk to her.

Wedding planning is stressful, and since your mom is so involved I'm sure she's as stressed as you are. It happens, my mom and I have always been close and every few months we would fight about something. Then about a year ago I moved out, best thing I ever did!!! We still have a close relationship and now that we're not on top of one another we each have the space that's necessary.
I suggest going to a spa with your mom or doing something just the 2 of you that's NWR. Don't even talk about the wedding; instead talk about work, other family members, vent about men, etc. You should be enjoying this time together. Your mom's behavior may be bc she's afraid of losing you after the wedding, make sure she knows that you'll always be her daughter and that you love her. Good luck!!
