One the hole in one of my ears closed up. I need a reputable place to go get it re-pierced. Does anyone know if jewlery stores still do this? I got my ears done 24 years ago, so I have no clue where to go anymore. I really want to wear earings on my wedding day. FH also bought me these beautiful earings to motivate me to get them re-pierced. I am such a scaredy-cat.
I didn't have my ears pierced until I was 20! I was visiting my FH (boyfriend back then) and my FMIL took me to Lee's Jewel Box (15377 CROSS ISLAND PKWY # A). When I got my second holes, I went to the mall, but one kept getting infected for a couple of years until I let it close up. So after the scar tissue went away, I went back to Lee's Jewel Box and had them do a second hole nearby. This one has been fine for years. I recommend them.
That's how my ear closed too...bad infection. That place is a bit far for me though (I'm in Suffolk County). Do you know of anyplace closer?
No, sorry. I am out of state, so I only know the parts of NY that I visit when I see my FILs. Even though I'm getting married in LI, I don't know the area very well. Good luck, though.
i know a lot of the jewelry places in the Smithaven mall does it...
Any reputable jewelry store can do it for you.
I am 24 and have peirced my ears 4 times. They just do not take well to my ears and I JUST GAVE UP
most jewelry stores do it and also claires does it
I now Piercing Pagoda in either Smithaven or Southshore mall does ear piercing. My mom just got hers done for the first time last year in the southshore mall and she had no problems.
