So I keep seeing tons of beautiful earings. I think I want to get my ears peirced but I am a wimp!!!!!

aww! It really doesn't hurt at all. I've had my cartilage, nose, tongue, and eyebrow pierced and earlobes are nuffin'!

It does hurt, i'm not gonna lie... but the hurt doesn't last long. I have 2 holes in each ear and had to get 1 re-done cuz it closed up. I was SUCH a wimp but thankfully my parents pierced them when I was a baby.
Get them pierced, put ice on it... then have a drink.

you can go in the mall ... i think Claire's does it (and i'm sure a bunch of other stores do too) ... it's cheap (like $20 if i remember correctly, and that includes the earrings)

Wal MArt does it for like... $6 plus the price of the earrings.
I worked there years ago and I decided on a whim on lunch one day to get a third set of holes in my ears. They use a gun, it takes 2 seconds and then put ice on them. NP!

Keep in mind it takes about 6 weeks befor eyou can change the earrings to let your ears heal if I remember correctly.

really it's not so bad. It's when you move higher up on your ear that it hurts more. It's more a quick sharp sting and the SNAP of the gun is scary.

Y'know, I had mine done when I was a kid and I got a *really* bad staff infection behind one of one of my ears and I had to take them out. They closed up and I never got them re-pierced until 3 weeks ago. And I'm so happy I got them done! I was so scurred to get them done and when I went there was actually a 4 y/o girl who wanted to see me get mine done first. So I had to put on my brave face. LOL! But it was so worth it! I'm so excited to wear earrings and it just looks so nice. In fact, I came home from Vegas walked in the door and the first thing FH said to me was 'You look so different in earrings, I really like them!' Go do it!!!
ETA: I got mine done at Piercing Pagoda in the mall. The earrings are 14k white gold and they were $35, the piercing was free. They also gave me the cleaning stuff for free. I was told 6-8 weeks before you can change them.

I got mine done at Claire's a couple of years ago. I am definitely a wimp and I won't lie, it really did hurt...the girl who did it thought I was going to pass out after the first one (or throw up) and I almost didn't let them do the second one...it took my MOH telling me I was going to be lopsided to let them do it.
But like 5 min after it was over I felt great!!! Definitely worth it, even if I did almost upchuck on the poor girl piercing me!!

def get it done!!! It really doesnt hurt.. I waited forever to get my nose pierced and then one day I said Im goin to do it and tried not to be a winp.. well my nose surprislingly didnt really hurt as bad as I thought it would.. its all what u make of it..

it hurts more when someone pinches you for half a second! really it is nothing. i have two on each lobe and have had each cartilage pierced and none are bad.

go to a tattoo shop and get them done. its far less traumatic on your actual ears than going to a claires or anyplace that does it with a gun. at any given time i've had at least 12+ piercings. you'll be much happier going to a shop, plus itll heal a lot faster
