we went to contract Aug 22 (made the offer ~2 weeks prior), and closed Sept 21.

We signed contracts last week, and were given 'on or about May 15'. The lawyer said it could be up to a month before that or a month after. We are thinking before, since the sellers need to move for a job.

We bid and our bid was accepted in April (beginning of April) we moved into the House June 28th. Just under three months.

Our offer was accepted on Feb 21 and we closed on June 9th!
