So I'm now tackling the task of honeymoon planning with less than 4 months to go. We are looking into Bora Bora and Moorea and I have purchased a Frommers to learn more, however my question is, does anyone know about the safety of tourists in this part of the world? I mean I'm not up to date on current events or anything, but you hear about terrorists, pirates etc. Am I worrying for nothing? I know its a popular honeymoon spot but just curious if anythings popped up recently. Thanks in advance.

This is a pretty popular tourist destination and there has not been any terrorist acts in that area of the world recently. Visit the Department of State Website for more specific information and travel advisories etc.
