I thought someone posted about this before...somethia bout you can bump up to first class for a small fee when you get to the airport......

I know delta, has $50 if there are seats available in first class.. I would call SOuthwest.. It's a stand by thing, but if there are seats open and you pay $50 your on first class in delta..

I checked into Delta from Islip to orlando, but no direct flights Maybe we will check from one of the city airports...but prefer from LI....

Southwest definitely has no first class seats! I know someone who was able to get upgraded to first class with America West from JFK, but they don't fly to Florida.

HOlly, islip doesn't have the big planes that have First class.. They only have md88 for the most part.. you can take the hampton jitney right into laguardia, and take a flight from there. you'll be better off.. and you can upgrade to first class with them.. for $50..

hmmm...we'll see I guess....not sure if we fcare so much about first class anymore....we need to be there on MOnday, the day after whe wedding, but want to take a later flight....so tahts come into plauy....don;t want to ahve to leave at the crack of dawn the morning after for all that security crap....uugh..I hate Flying..but I found out after doing a search its SPirit that will upgrade you to first when you gete there for like a cheap price...but not sure how much....THanks for the info tho, Crystal!

No I didn't end up going.. I have A LOT Of studdying to do.. As you probably already know.. my FI works for Delta.. so we fly for free.. and we get first class sometimes.. it isn't like it use to be.. You don't get any food, the only thing that is free are the drinks, but you can get that in coach.. Just to let you know.. it is more comfortable and they MIGHT give you champagne.. some airlines will bump you up if they know your newlyweds.. SO TALK IT UP GIRLE!!!!!!!!!!

When FH and I flew with Virgin Atlantic to Greece two years ago, we told them we were newlyweds and they bumped us up to first class.
