Your headpiece? Tiara, hair comb, headband?? Anyone have pics of theirs? I am so confused ont his topic!!

Did you pick your dress out yet? I always thought I would pick a tiara but I actually picked a thin headband that has the same crystal, bead work, and pearls in it. I think it also matters how you do your hair. I always wear my hair down so I'm not doing the conventional updo. It will be half up half down. hth

Im doing my hair half up half down too. I picked a comb but it's not a side comb, it looks more like a headband. It's got alot of crystals..very sparkly. I'm just doing earrings, no necklace and a bracelet. So, I wanted it to stand out. Good luck!

I'm going for (hopefully it comes out well at the trial) Bridgette Bardot-curly-60s-bouffanty kind of style, so the only thing I'll have as a headpiece is going to be my birdcage veil. I do want to leave it in all night, just flipped back, so I'm going to find a funky vintage brooch or flower to attach to its comb.

yeah I have picked out dresses... check out my albums...I have a ceremony dress and a reception dress. I was thinking tiara for the first one right? It's so like princess like so I was thinking crystals and small pearls maybe with either my hair totally up and curls or half up and half down? I have been growing it so I think half up and down might look nice and different (always wear a pony tail) See, I'm so confused!! LOL
For the reception I am thinking a pony tail or side ponytail and maybe a cute sidepiece like one of those combs.

I got a feather and lace hair clip when I bought my dress but now I'm thinking of turning it into a headband. I got it really cheap at a sample sale and it matches the dress perfectly but I'm going to go DIY and jazz it up with a couple more feathers, maybe peacock feathers and add it to a headband. I found a DIY tutorial of a ribbon wrapped headband that's pretty. I'm also not wearing a veil so I want something dramatic. I also have a LOT of hair lol so I can pull of something bigger and I love big hair clips in all the pics I've been looking at!

I haven't found what I want yet, I may wind up making it. I want a big white flower, maybe some feather in there and attached to my bird cage veil, which I plan to wear all night. Something with lots of drama!

Both your dresses are beautiful!!! I like your idea of crystals and pearls to accent the dress! You should definitely look and once you try on different styles you will find one that just matches. I think your hair style choice is a good idea! The reception side pontail will look great with that dress!! That dress and hair style is saying you are ready to party! Good luck! Its so much fun!

I still love nice tiaras, even though they are not popular in this day and age in comparison to headbands, combs, large flowers or crystal clips in the hair I guess.
I don't know what I want to wear yet. I've got two things given to me as gifts but I'm not sure they fit with my hair or dress so I'm looking for something else.
