Spa Castle (x-post)

Spa Castle (x-post)

I have some questions about the Spa Castle in Queens. Are the male/female sections separate from each other? FH and I have been to some spas where they have separate sections when you're waiting for a massage and separate jacuzzis/saunas for men and women. We really don't like this and would prefer to be together. Does Spa Castle have separate sections or are men and women together?

Also, I believe I have read about the 'no clothing policy' for the showers. Could we just avoid this area if possible? I would prefer to not take a shower if I can't at least keep my bathing suit on with other people around. Are there any other areas besides the shower area that has the no clothing policy?

Do you recommend going to Spa Castle??? What does the day pass include? Is it worth it to also get a massage in addition to the day pass?

TIA!

I did spa castle for my bach party. They had a separate area for men, which is the locker room. They have a jacuzzi in the locker room that is no clothing. But I went in the showers with my bathing suit and no one said anything.

When you get out of the locker room everything is co-ed. they have 2 out door pools and 2 indoor. They dont separate you if you're using the pools.

I didnt get a massage or anything so I cant comment about that.

I love spa castle my girls had so much fun and it was really relaxing. I would recommend it. Try to get a group rate if you can since its a little pricey. Oh and bring your own beach towels, or you can rent one for $1

me & FH are spa castle junkies! i that place.

most of the facility is co-ed. there's a male/female locker section where you could leave your stuff and each have jacuzzi and sauna rooms that has the no-clothing policy. the shower area is in the no-clothing section but i've seen a few who was able to sneak in with their bathing suits on.

go there on a weekday so it's cheaper and less people. the weekends tend to be more crowded.

Thanks so much girls! Are the saunas unbearably hot? Sometimes saunas are realllllllly hot and I can't stand to be in them for more than a few minutes. FH is even more sensitive than I am to the heat. Are they a comfortable temperature?

dont worry about the temperature because there's plenty to choose from! i think there's 6 rooms (all in different temp) in the main floor.

all this talk about Spa Castle is making me want to go there tonight! hehehe
