So my DH is sad we didnt plan a honeymoon right away, now he wants to go away, somewhere not to far, to a spa place
Now i have been reseraching most things are booked up or very expensive For example 3 nites, with one meal a day, and one spa service a day is 950 a person.
I cant justify spending 6k on 3 nites.
Does anyone know of any reasonable places upstate ny, nj, massachusettes, pennsylvania I would say within 3-4 hours driving distance from long island.
I see alot of bed and breakfasts, but we like to get massage and spa treatments at teh same place.
any suggestions are appreciated

Did you look into Martha's Vineyard? We stayed at the Hob Knob Inn and they do massage/treatments. Hob Knob Inn Website
What about Montauk? Gurney's Inn is known for their spa treatments. Gurney's Inn Website
Unfortunately anywhere beachy/romantic is going to be $$$ this time of year...

The ones i saw were between 500-1000 per person per day
you got 3 meals and one spa service per day.

My poor DH is more sad the wedding is over than i am...im so happy to relax and do nothing!

How about Marriott Seaview Resort and Spa in NJ.
it's an awesome spa/resport/golf club in NJ that is about 20 minutes away from Atlantic City - so you can enjoy the nightlife=)
I looked there actually for a wedding venue and I can say it is super nice!

Your day is almost here!!!!!!!!! I am actually writing my review in word right now lol, it goes by fast, but my day really went by slow for me because i was so hot and sweaty lol

Call gurneys inn before you book a weekend... last time I went in April they were renovating... and the spa was closed (hot tub, steam room, sauna) the pool and spa services were open.. but if you are into those types of things.. call first... they do have a nice beach though!

I was just going to post Norwich! I've been going there for years...I just love it there. It's so quaint! And, it's right across from Mohegan, so if you wanted to you could even go to dinner there!

Have you looked into The Emerson- its near the catskills- great spa!!! They also have a lodge which is a little cheaper but still very nice!!
I was looking up places in Saratoga yesterday and there seems to be a lot of spas there.
There is a place out East called the Greenporter and I believe they have a spa.
