I'm wearing spaghetti straps - my church hasn't even asked me about anything like that.

Re: Spaghetti straps at church???
The sheet they gave us said, 'modest attire..no bare shoulders'.
Do you think I will have a problem, since the veil covers my shoulders????

If the veil is covering your shoulders, I'd think you'd be OK. I think that'll be fine! Is this a catholic church if you don't mind me asking?

What month are you getting married? I think you'll be OK. I don't think they'd like throw you out on your wedding day for that since you'll have spaghetti straps.

Re: Spaghetti straps at church???
I was once told not to mention to your church if you are wearing a strapless dress. Unless they ask you shouldn't ask them. What are they going to do on the day of the wedding, turn you away. If they don't mention it to you, Don't bring it up.

Re: Spaghetti straps at church???
getting married labor day weekend, september.
I just have a fear the priest will make a remark or something. (at FSIL wedding, she had the same priest and he made a joke at the groom's expense--don't know why he thought it was funny...I'd hate for that to happen to me because of this.)

Re: Spaghetti straps at church???
I got married in a Greek church which said the same thing, but I wore spaghetti straps with no veil and no one said anything. What were they going to do? Send me home??? It was July and it was hot.

Maybe you should find a wrap to have, just in case.

Re: Spaghetti straps at church???
It didn't say anything in my guide book but I am bringing a wrap just in case. Did anyone else get a rule book for their church?
