I'm doing the don't ask don't tell - I plan on wearing a Cathedral veil and I will just make sure it completely covers everything...look they gave me about a 4-6 page sheet on the 'rules' of the church what you can and can't do and there is nothing in there about dress

You may not see the priest until you get to the altar, but often times the person (usuallya woman) who runs your rehearsal and wedding ceremony, will be a stickler for rules and might frown upon your bare shoulders, thus making your already frazzled nerves snap. Better to be safe than screaming at your coordinator and crying as you storm down the aisle with a curtain around you shoulders...
