Spanx

Hi ladies!

What are your thoughts on Spanx? I think I want to invest in a pair. I either hear amazing or not-so-great things about them. Some people swear by them, and others say they ruined their night because they were so tight. Can anyone give me some feedback?

I have a pair..and I love them. I do think the sizing is a bit weird...they feel tight at first...but they certainly do what they are made to do. They suck in EVERYTHING but dont leave any 'rolls' lol I think investing in a one pair to try them out is a good idea. Even try QVC....they have good prices and easy pay sometimes

I have a knock off brand that I wear. It doesn't ruin the night but can make using the bathroom more time consuming

I absolutely love them!!! I def think you should get a pair. I find them comfortable...i mean you can feel that you have something on but they are stretchy so they have a little flexibility.

I just recently started wearing them. I like them they absolutely give you a smoother appearance but I agree it takes going to the bathroom more time.

Mine are an older version so I don't know exactly what they are called (they all have cute names)...but they come to about mid thigh...and of course cover my tummy area as well lol I swear by them sometimes....DEF not cheating!! haha

I don't really like the idea of them. I think if I wore them, I wouldn't be nervous about my gut sticking out and I would eat ALOT...making matters worse lol

i have the knock off version that you can buy at Target. Its called Assets and they are half the price. They work just as great!

I have like a skirt suck in thing from VS, and yes, it does this, but it's still worth it because I love that I don't have to suck in my little pudgy wudge because I don't exercise and don't have natural lower ab muscles!

If you get a size too small for you you might have the roll down problem. But it's tricky bc if you get a size too big they don't really do anything to suck in- just smooth lines. I love Spanx!! I only have two pairs - ones that are attached to black opaque stockings for the winter- love them with boots or pumps and a dress! and then i have ones that are shorts for dresses in the summer. once you find the right ones for you you'll be hooked!!

and it's def not cheating- i know girls that are size 0's who wear them!
