Spanx brides

Re: Spanx brides

if you're afraid they're going to roll down, SPANX came out with the Silm Cognito which has an attachment that clips on your bra to avoid the roll. I saw it in their catalog

But i wonder if this would work for a strapless bridal gown that would have the built in bra..

I have the higher power ones and i dont have a problem with them rolling down, although i have heard that complaint before. i think buying the right size is key, dont buy them too small just because you want to be s ucked in more. i tried the slim cognito ones too, which are supposed to be the firmest support but i found them to be the same as the higher power ones, but more than double the price!

Im having a dilemna with the whole size because if i buy a large and then i lose weight then it will be too big. So i dont really know if i should maybe buy a medium now even though it wont fit me and i wont be able to use it for dress fittings..im so lost with this

Where is the best place to purchase Spanx in the Queens area? Also how well does Spanx really suck you in, ive heard so many brides rave about it.Can past Spanx brides please post pics of themselves using it? Also are they super duper tight or just so so?

A little-known fact: Target carries their own line of Spanx called Assets by the SAME designer Sara Blakely!! It even has her name on the package. I bought a pair of capri stockings for a gown that really did the trick and allowed me to wear sandals.

thanks but are they super tight like how everyone says Spanx is?

The ones that I got were more like a capri-length control top panty hose, so they weren't super tight, but they definitely smoothed me over (I was wearing a slinky evening gown). Assets has a 'sensational shaper' which is probably more like the traditional Spanx product.

I wonder if the one by Assets squeezes you like how a Spanx would..it is relatively less $$ which would be great but i want to be ****** in

I wear them under any thin cotton dress.
Sometimes I walk down the street and see girls and their butts are shaking under thin dresses and inside I always think, 'She needs spanx!'
It just keeps everything in place and smooth.
