Spanx / plus size brides

Did anyone that was plus sized use spanx?

I wanted to get some but I didn't want to spend that much $$ and then they make fat rolls over the top of the spanx. Anyone?

Get the ones that go up to just under your bust. Keeps the rolls at bay.

I haven't had any problems with the Higher Power ones rolling down. I know that they have another style that has straps that hook onto your bra, but I haven't tried those.

I heard they had spanx at estelles cheaper than regular priced.

what about doing a bustier kind of thing...and keeping the spanx under it...probably would stop it from rolling...

The ones that go up to your bra are probably your best bet. im wearing them for my sisters wedding, i tried them on for my first fitting and man was it a workout trying to get those darm things on!! they are pretty comfy though and hold everything in place!! got them from bloomies for 35 bucks

I'm wearing a corset over the spanx and it will def keep they from going anywhere

Yeah - i'm wearing a long line bra....so i guess that'll help keep it in place - but make going potty a pain in the butt!!!

I usually put the bra band over the top of the high rise. Usually enough to keep them in place.
Sounds gross, but get the ones with the split crotch.
Easier than trying to pull the whole thing down to pee, and then having to pull the whole thing up again.

Totally. My seamstress asked me a couple of times if I was okay.

I wore the higher power ones too - loved them and highly recommend!

they have the ones that clip to your bra this way it doesn't fall.

You know you're really fat when you're too fat for Spanx. They actually don't fit me! It's so annoying. You'd think a company would market foundations and all that stuff to size 24+ ... we're the chicks who really need them. Try finding a strapless bra with wires in size 44DDD.

I bought the new hanes that are like spanx but to the kneee and up to under the bra....couldn't get my fat *** into them....

what a breakdown I had...too fat for a girdle?! OYE!
