Sparklers instead of birdseed, rose petals, etc....

In response to a post about a week ago, I said that I was planning to use sparklers instead of birdseed, rose petals, etc...outside the chapel. Wellllllll, I went to Pennsylvania this weekend, and bought 200 or so sparklers (they were on sale) and went to test them out at our campfire. Unfortunately, if you shake them (which out of excitement, anyone would) the lit part occasionally flies off. My friend almost got hit right in the face, but instead burned her chair! My friend said 'that could have been your veil, dress, a guest...'. Pretty scary thought! I will continue to search for the 'perfect' sparkler for my wedding, but I wanted this to serve as a warning to all those brides who may have wanted to try something different....good luck everyone!
