Sparkles

Has anyone heard of instead of throwing rice or bubbles after the ceremony have the sparks lit. I was just wondering if anyone has attended a wedding and they did that or anyone is thinking of doing that. Please give me some feedback or if anyone knows of prices.

I'm going to do sparklers instead of having things thrown at me because....by the time we get out of the church its going to be really dark out. I think it will look nice and it'll be different. I'm hoping people won't be stupid and come to close.

Re: Sparkles

we are using sparklers for our entrance/introduction as Mr & Mrs for the reception instead of the BMs holding their bouquets up.....Bridal party will have sparklers on either side of us!

Somehow, I would go on Fire!!!

I couldn't imagine using them. I'm sure most places would see it as a fire hazard. It's a nice idea though, maybe for an evening wedding.

im thinking of doing it too. but having second thoughts still. i think you also have to check with your RH if they'll let you do it..something about insurance.

I think it will look beautiful also! I know my hall won't allow it though, other than candles, no fire is allowed in the hall.
