Spas in New York

Im going to be planning my bachleorette party soon, and I was thinking of going to a spa in Manhattan. Does anyone have any suggestions of a good one that isnt too expensive. Thanks!

I suggest Bliss , Soho Sanctuary and Carapan. Carapan is a little more 'solitary' than the others - it's a very dark place, candlelit, I don't know if it's right for what you're looking for. But Bliss is a TOTAL safe bet. And Soho Sanctuary is just such a treat. go to citysearch.com and search spas in NY - they have them all on there and you can read reviews. Good luck and have fun!!! Wish MY girls were planning a spa day!

I've been to Bliss and it's great. I also suggest Oasis. I just got a gift certificate for there for my birthday and supposedly it's excellent. My future sister in law got a seaweed wrap there and loved it!

If you go to Oasis you should go to their new location at One Park Avenue, Park Ave. and 33rd Street. It is nicer than the Union Square location. I gave gift certificates to my bridesmaids to Oasis as one of their gifts. Soho Sanctuary and Carapan are also great but Carapan is a bit small for a group outing. I have never been to Bliss.

Haven in SoHo is great too. Very low key, quiet and beautiful. Bliss can be a bit of a scene sometimes.
