SPEAK SPANISH? I NEED HELP!

First of all, thank you for potentially helping me break down a language barrier to help my students!!


Tomorrow I have parent teacher conferences ... can you help me translate a few things???

I can read spanish pretty well ...

I would like to say:

Hi, my name is Ms Lucas. Thank you for taking the time to come tonight. Regretfully, I don't speak Spanish but I wanted to make an effort to communicate with you in your language.

*You can change whatever you need to ... or if you have anything to add that would be great.*

Also how do I say ...

Your child missed _____ homework assignments. Homework is an important part of my class and I'd like to see an imporovement in this area. I could use your help. Your son/daughter records their homework in their agenda each day. You may want to check it on a nightly basis to make sure its being done. If we work together I think we can help your son/daughter's grades improve in the future.


WOW if anyone does this I would be so thankful. I also have a list of positive things that I can say but feel free to add anything.
