My dad asked me about a month ago and I told him that Vin planned on doing like a weekend trip so that wuld be out... He was kinda upset about it... So now Im thinkin that FH should do a 1 day/night thing too with the dad's (but FH's dad is close to 70 and i dont think he'd be into it LOL)... My dad seemed like he was really looking forward to it according to my mom...

I don't think we've thought about that. Knowing FH, what he is doing is going to be so low key having my dad there would be fine.
However, for the guys who want to go out drinking or get strippers, I say leave the FotB @ home. Or you may get an *** whoopin.

For my brothers bachelor party they included fathers and underage groomsmen by going out to dinner. After dinner was just for the 'guys'. FH will probably do something along these lines.

no dh went to vegas. But MIL did bring it up to DH and told him to invite his dad although his dad couldnt take off of work. MIL wanted both of our dads to go and didnt understand why they werent invited. I said NO WAY i dont want him to invite my dad. Not about strippers or anything like that, but its just other things that Dh's friends do that i didnt want my dad to see.

well, FH cousin is getting married in Sept and he had the bachelor party as a weekend getaway to the Hamptons and he is doing the 'old mans night' this saturday for all that couldnt attend the weekend getaway and the dads. Its just dinner and drinks, they were going to go see a baseball game but couldnt get tickets lol.
Now Fh says he wants to do the same thing

yeah and i know dh would've loved to have his father there but he doesnt want him to see any of that. We both knew it would probably be obvious, im sure its something both our dads would not be comfortable with

I can't see my dad going....but maybe if they do dinner or something and then he would leave. But FH and my dad are close so it isn't that he wouldn't want to go but I know my dad will be thinking let the boys go out and get into trouble.

yes my dad and his dad will be going! they plan on doing a bunch of manly things lol they are going on a charter boat to go fishing and then a yankee game and then probally dinner ...to eat steak and lobster...they already discuseed it and i think its perect!

Hmmm I dunno... my dad was living in FL for a while so he and FH aren't that close. But FH's two brothers are groomsmen and they're under 21, so they might do a two part party and maybe my dad will go to the first half.
