Speaking of after parties..............

Speaking of after parties..............

Am I selfish for not wanting one? I just want to go to the hotel and enjoy my first night as a 'wife'...........

I don't want an after party either- I just want to have quiet time. We are, however, having a brunch the next day.

Not at all Liz.

After my wedding I will be racing to my hotel room.

Liz...I agree also. I'm sure after a very long day, I will want some alone time with my man.

We are going to have a late brunch with the families the next day. Do you think they would look at me wierd if I wore my gown??? LOL I hate the fact that I can only wear for one day!!

While I totally think you guys wanting to have a romantic night is sweet...we are having sooooo many out of town guests that we have not seen in forever, and the after party seems like a good idea to actually sit down, have a drink and catch up with them. God knows we won't be able to at the reception.

Most of my friends live in California and we have most of our family traveling from out of town. I'd like to be able to spend some time with them in a smaller croud and have some drinks and laughs.
We're up in the air though, I don't think we're planning anything specific. If everyone is staying at the same hotel and we can just go to the lobby- that's probably what we'll do. It's a Sunday night, so I don't see it being an all nighter.

We are high-tailing it out of there as soon as the last tip is made! And we're running, and gonna keep running until we hit the Essex House in the city, then we are gonna run again until we hit the West Coast!

LOL, costume, well put!!!

We are considering an after party, but not sure where yet. I guess I will leave that decision for later. I agree about wanting to get use out of the dress though, and sitting down with friends in a more casual atmosphere!

Re: Speaking of after parties..............

There is a bar in the place where I'm getting married that's open till 4am. We have ALOT of old college friends we haven't seen for a few yeras coming down so we'll probably hang out for a few drinks after the reception and then head off to our room since it's all in the same place!!
