so......... when i first ordered my dress i got the veil , tiera, shoes and what not i felt went with that dress.....
after seeing the dress on me in my size i decided i HATED IT!!!!! so i ended up going back in davids and swaping out for the dress i should have gotten to begin with.
so now i have a dilemma should i stick with the shoes and veil i got monthsssssssss ago (suck it up and drive on) or should i start the hunt for different ones i would be happier with??????
here are some pics........
my new dress
the shoes i have(they are like a very light ivory and my dress is white)
the veil i have........ very simple satin rat tail edges there is a cathedral length and a finger tip both on their own combs

Hmmmmmmm.... its a tough decision b/c your shoes, people will prob not even see so you can stick with those. Can you dye them? BUTTTTTTT if you have the money and can afford it, buy the stuff that makes you happy. If you really hate it.... then you really should get something else. Now the veil, I dunno Im on the fence with that too.... bc its not an ugly veil. I just think that your dress has beautiful details and the veil doesnt seem to go with it.... I could be wrong- but if you had another veil with a different type of detail, I think it would look nicer on you. In the end, you have to do what makes you happy

Re: speaking of shoes w/poll
the shoes are a light ivory color and no i can't dye them they aren't the satin material to dye i only paid like $10 for the shoes after sales and a coupon and a gift card so no biggie to replace them... the veils i got off ebay and they were only like $30 with shipping so not a super loss with them either plus i could always sell them both... but the more i see other things the more i think i want to change them both

The shoes definitely don't go with the new dress so I would find new ones. The veil isn't perfect but you can get away with it. I'd try to sell them to another bride if you can so at least you can get some money back for it. The new dress is gorgeous by the way!

Honestly, nobody is going to see your shoes. I'd keep them if they're comfy. As for the tiara and veil, I'd make sure they match your current dress. Otherwise, you'll always look back on your pics and only see that they aren't what you wanted.

thats what i'm afraid of i got them basically because 1...they were cheap & 2..they have the heel i need to walk in and not totally kill my back but they are a little tight right where the bow is
i'm only really planning on wearing shoes for pics then slipping into something more comfy for the reception. unless i find other shoes that are super comfy that i can stand to wear all day

Seeing as you didnt pay a lot for them, I'd just buy new shoes you'll be comfortable in.

JMO! I would honestly buy a new pair just because I noticed you are getting married in the summer. And, I know that my feet would be sweating in a pair of pumps.
