gone to the OB-GYN to check your fertility?!

i went last week, and thankfully the dr said i am ready to go when i want!!! guess i just wanted to have a bit of a clear head about it you know? no concerns later on!

In order for them to run the blood tests on you... you have to be off of any birth control for at least a month.... I did this test like 4 yrs ago (bc of things going on with my family) and I put my foot down and said I need it done. So, I got off birth control and my eggs came 'within normal limits' so I was fine. Then I asked another doc about this, and they told me that every year the number of eggs changes, so if you take the test today and decide not to have a baby soon... then its pointless. The docs would rather you take the tests when you are ready to have a baby... Im guessing bc they act as though we are wasting their time and see it as being pointless. I dont know... but either way, I like to know... and after we get married, I plan on taking this test again to see how it goes.

we are planning to start trying like immediately after, so its only 6 months away.
I didnt need to be off the pill to do it, but it might have been becuz they were changing my pill at the time to a diff one. I dont know but they did it and im very happy they did

Oh thats interesting... I should really ask my gyno about that. At the time my gyno said something about the pill throwing off the test results or something and that it was better to get a more accurate result without the pill. Yes, you should def. get it done. Awwwww you guys want to start in 6 months... YAYYYYYYYY!!!! How exciting!!!!
