i've been wondering, my photographer is the owner of his company. do i tip him? i have heard you don't tip the owner, but in this case it's a very small company. do i tip him or not?!

I've read in several places that it's not necessary if he/she is the owner. But I still think I would feel uncomfortable not giving them something. Sorry I cant be of more help. We will prob tip the usual vendors regardless of whether or not they are owners. Unless of course they do something awful

I've heard of that too. I couldn't imagine not tipping someone providing a service for you. So I plan on tipping them anyway.

Usually, you don't tip if the vendor is the owner of his/her business. We had several of those. It's up to you.

I dunno. Id say if you can afford to tip everyone then do it. If you cant then dont tip the owner. Just make sure you tip whoever he brings along.

My photographer is the owner, and I don't plan to tip him on the day of the wedding, but if he does an exceptional job (and I fully expect him to do so), i will probably buy him a small gift

the majority of you would still tip so i guess that's the best thing to do. plus, he is the vendor i am the most excited about...i just have a feeling he is going to be beyond amazing...so i am def going to tip him.
