YES!!! I have a friend who was supposed to work for me Thursday, but her boyfriend told her he took off from work bc he has a *surprise* for her. I told her she better get her nails done this week just in case

Although.. I must admit... I flat out TOLD FH that he better not propose on a holiday or something. I felt that it took away from it.

I wanted the proposal to be like a 'no reason' present LOL and it was lol

I actually had a venue suggest that I book my venue before Valentine's Day for the pure fact that there will be many more brides looking for venue's after the holidays! I listened!!

I was told the same thing, but about Christmas and New Years!!

I had been expecting the proposal for every holiday for the past 3 years, so when he did it on a random day, even though at that point I expected it every day, I was caught off guard.
