Speaking on Birth Control - Need advice!!!

Ok so....a little background

I've been on the pill since I was about 17, for regulation purposes-- I have PCOS which is Poly-Cystic Ovary Syndrome which causes a whole laundry list of unfavorable symptoms such as weight control, body hair, and sometimes infertility, which my dr said I shouldn't worry about cuz there are solutions when I do wanna get pregnant.

Anyway.....I'm 30 now. I wasn't sexually active until I was 26 ( by choice ). I'm usually good with my pill but this morning I realized I didn't take last night's pill or the night before! AND yesterday FH and I went at it big time cuz we were all alone at home for the first time in a while since my parents ( who we live with ) went away for the weekend! So we got caught up in the moment and YADA YADA YADA. We really never use a 2nd form of Birth control anymore.

I took both missed pills this morning and being that I'm 9 months and 3 days from my wedding.....who thinks I should go for PLAN B? I kinda do..... but then again maybe I'm being paranoid? I dunno what does everyone think?

Chances are nothing will happen...but I am paranoid- so I would do the plan B...its $50 but the relief is priceless!

I'd say you have very little chances of anything but it DOES happen---PLAN B is easy and cheap (considering)--I think that is a sure way ease your fears!

You should be fine. Just in case, I would get Plan B. It may mess up your cycle though so don't panic if it does.

you are fine...i have done this before. If you took 2 today (sat and sundays) then tomorrow you will have to take 2 as well (monday and tuesdays) but then ull be back on track.

Although unlikely, it is still possible to get pregnant like that! i'm a pharmacist and i would definetly recommend plan B - better to be sure!

I know missing one pill is fine but i don't know about missing two - go onto webmd and put in your pill name and it will have info on it or call you gyno

I think your probably ok...but it also depends on where your at in your 'cycle' (whether your ovulating or not). I would check out an ovulation calendar online (just enter your last period date and it tells your the days your ovulating approx), and if you were within those primetime days, I would be on my way to CVS right now

I would say not to worry and not to use Plan B..it wil DEF throw off your cycle. I am in the same boat as far as PCOS and the pill and I've missed taking my pills on a weekend vacation b4
Because my cycle is so irregular and the pcos...we rarely ovulate, so I've been fine!

If its stressing you out though, just for piece of mind, you could take Plan B but speak to your MD 1st to see what you should do about your pills while you take it.

It's called 'Plan B' for a reason - when your Plan A doesn't work right. I'd take it if I were you. My sister took it once and got some bad cramping from it, but otherwise she was okay.

Why don't you set an alarm on your phone so you remember to take your pill on time each day? That's what I do and it works! It's so easy to forget to take it sometimes..
