DH was going to but after my dad spoke, our to MOH's, and BM we decided it was too much. Maybe at our church wedding we'll say something.

I thought that maybe at some point I would just make an impromptu speech aobut what a great day it was and how happy I was that everyone was there. And not that those things weren't true, but I just forgot to do it that day - I was having too much fun!!!

DH did to tell people about the afterparty and thank everyone for coming. He handed the mic to me and I just said 'Thank you!' lol.

Us too! I think traditionally the father of the bride says something at the wedding...although personally in my case I wish we had skipped over this bit of tradition.

I made a detailed speech at the RD, which didnt include a lengthy devoted thank you to my MIL...so she went in the bathroom and cried about it.

I also made a quick speech at the wedding

I gave a little speech at the wedding at the end to thank people and made sure people knew which parents helped with the most of it!

We did a quick thank you to our parents after the MOH and BM speeches. IDK what I said but the party was great!!!

I didnt. I did a little toast in the party bus thanking our bridal party but thats it.
