Re: Speeches @ Wedding
Lately I'm seeing a lot of Brides and Grooms thanking everyone at the wedding.... This makes me nervous. i don't want to do that........
BUt I do think that the bride and groom should say something at the RD...... Nothing formal, just something!!!

I am not much for tradition regarding the speeches at the wedding. our parents gave the speeches. I honestly dont understand why the BM and MOH usually give the speech. what about the parents? JMO

At the wedding the moh and bm make speeches.... I'm not sure if there's a tradition to speeches at rd. At our wedding only the bm made a speech and at the rd the dads plus dh did.... Maybe a lil overkill but they were all quick.

Regy, I LOVE this idea....... Although, for my sister's wedding, I sang....... so I know my sister wants to say something (I think) and I know FBIL is going to want to do something for us in that way...........

Re: Speeches @ Wedding
Traditionally, the BM and MOH make speeches at the wedding.
We're going to say something at the RD to thank everyone for coming, and to just kind of review what's going to happen during the ceremony since we aren't having an actual rehearsal.

Re: Speeches @ Wedding
I think traditionally the MOH makes one at the RH and the Best man makes one at the wedding. I think the FOB also 'traditionally' makes a speech at the wedding. However, at most of the weddings ive been too both the MOH and BM make a speech.

Wedding: The MOH and Best man make the speeches.
RD: I don't think it's necassary for anyone to make a speech, I guess this is just personal preference
