Spelman Studios

I had an appointment at Spelman Studios today. I loved their work and the woman we met with. Here's my question...are photos worth almost $5ooo...add another $1700 for video...

My quotes were a little lower than that, but we booked her a while ago. I say yes, it's worth it, she does awesome work, I've been in a wedding Spelman has done, and I've seen the finished product, and it's beautiful. I liked the way she got all of our posed pics done in that wedding and then I didn't notice her the rest of the night as a bridesmaid.

At first I wondered the same thing but after looking around, my mother and I always thought back to spelman. After seeing my engagement pictures, I absolutely think that it's worth it.

I have also booked Spellman and they are totally worth it. My aunt is very good friends with Christine and has been using her for years as the photographer for her office. Everything she does is impressive. Remember, when it is all said and done, the photos are the only thing you have left.

I used Spelman and the money is so worth it. Their work is outstanding. You can see my wedding album here online, and my pic is the first pic you see when you open liweddings. They are pricey but very worth it.

They are also extremely unobtrusive on your wedding day. You almost never notice they are even there. Another thing I like, is it is a very small boutique type place in the sense that you actually get the photographer they tell you. I have seen a lot of comments on these boards for various other photographers where you are promised one person and then on your wedding day someone else shows up.

Thanks for your comments...I really liked Spelman and I am going to think it over..we also have another in mind who we liked but now I'm torn because I thought her work was lovely. Thanks again.

We got married 5/30/04 and Christine Spelman was our photographer. She was one of our favorite vendors. The pictures got done quickly and in a very organized manner (we got married at the hall and were in a time crunch for pics). We love our album and if it's any help highly recommend them. I totally agree. I didn't book Spelman, but I definitely splurged on my photographer and videographer. I think it's totally worth it because it's all I'll have to remember the day by.
