we registered at both. BB has better deals but tMacys had our cake server and toasting flute
we only had one - i personally think one registry is the best way to go
We registered at both and yesterday I went to the BBB in Westbury which is HUGE. I found some things cheaper in Macy's, but at the same time BBB has that 20% coupon people could use. I thought of combining too.

i have both macy's and BBB... i only have bedding on my Macy's registry.. i wasn't crazy about the BBB bedding so i put it on macys.. they were around the same price but Macy's is always having good sales on them & have way more of a selection
I tried to do more than one registry...but BBB has so much, I don't really see the need for more than 1 registry

I only have one BBB..... everything you can find at Macey's is pretty much at BBB. And the 20% coupon makes it even better to shop at BBB

With the Macy's registry, you get a percentage back of your entire registry 5 or 10%.
I decided to do 2 - it's early though so I might change my mind - but I did William Sonoma and a honeymoon registry. I would prefer the honeymoon one, but I feel like for shower purposes and for people who want to purchase us a gift, it's good to have a tangible registry. We don't own a home yet so we don't have a need for lots of stuff. I def won't be insulted if people don't get us anything from the WS one. I put a message to guests on it to visit our honeymoon registry with the web link.
right now we have bbb and macys. but our macys registry has like 3 items on it. i found everything and more at bbb. however, i actually feel that kohls has a lot for cheaper, bc they always have sales and coupons. was thinking about switching the macys to kohls but prob wont end up doin it.

Switching everything from my Macy's registry to BBB... Any of you only have one registry?
I find that everything we registered for at Macy's is at BBB ... and cheaper.
After you switched, did you inform Macy's? Will it still be searchable?
we initially only registered at Macys. i was set on only having one registry. then Macys discontinued the corning ware set we wanted so i had to set up a BBB registry. then i found out BBB had china, stemware & flatware storage cases so i added those at BBB too. so our BBB registry has 6 things & our Macys registry is our main one. FH always jokes that we are going to end up with our storage cases for our fine china & no fine china. i guess we shall see.
we are reg @ BBB, Macys & I am still going to do a reg for Amazon & Pottery Barn.
I registered at Bloomingdales, BBB and Crate and Barrel. After finishing I realized that 90% of the items I had on Bloomies could be moved to BBB. So now I have most of my items on BBB, alot on Crate & Barrel and just a hand full of items on Bloomies.
