Spider Veins

Hi all. I have a ton of purple spider veins on my legs. It's the one thing about my appearance that I just can't deal with. People say things about them. I went to Dr. Bruck in New Hyde Park Road in Garden City this past Spring to try to get them taken care of. He injected them, and he said I have a lot for my age and that it would take multiple treatments. My leg was swollen and even though I didn't work out for 2 or 3 days after, my legs continued to hurt as I ran or jumped for the next month or two. I think the first treatment helped shrink them a little, but it's hard to tell as they're still all over the place.

I just got a job as a personal trainer at a gym, and I really can't stand having them anymore. I was wondering about laser, but one popular doctor's website said that's a scam. Does anyone have any different experience or advice?

My friend had laser surgery to remove hers... however, it left a scar in one place.


I personally have a lot of them, but I haven't looked into any treatments.
