I def would let him go. I know he's not going to do anything stupid plus they supposedly give awesome parties. It is a beautiful mansion, I saw it on a tour in California and its beautiful from what I saw. Hey, if I was invited I would go myself.lol.

I'm sorry - I don't want to sound rude AT ALL because everyone is entitled to their opinion but if someone says they are going to the Playboy mansion to check out the architecture or to see how it is decorated I dunno - that's like saying you read Playboy for the articles

If they want to see pretty architecture, they can go to the museum or Italy or Greece or something. Half of the appeal is the taboo of 'ohmigosh Playboy' not the actual mansion itself. But hey - I'm sure there are some people out there who really just want to see it so who am I to say

Nope, sorry, I wanna see that grotto and I wanna test out the floor that's made out of a mattress. Not many times you can see an *occuppied* mansion that always has celebrities floating around. It is soooo much more than just playmates.

See I think the problem is that some people find them beautiful others don't. This goes for playmates, Heff himself, celebrities whatever. Not everyone has the same ideal of beautiful and no on is right, but they are right for themselves. Some people think playmates are ugly, and some think plane janes are. Not a problem at all - and I dunno who called playmates dumb they aren't. I'm sure some are and some aren't just like anywhere else you know?

I have one thing to say:
It's the same thing to stereoptype all playmates as bimbos as it is to steroetype all men as attracted those playmates and to say that any man that says otherwise is lying.

I'm sure there are PLENTY of men out there who would lie about not being attracted to playmates to please someone....but I'm sure there are also PLENTY who say it and are not lying.

Just as I'm sure there are plenty of intelligent playmates....and plenty of not-so-intelligent playmates.

The world is filled with all different types....why cant's we all just get along???

anyways about the 'blonde bimboesque girls' I am happy to say that Im honestly not attracted to women like this..... these women pertray young hot sexy horny not so smart bumbos.... its what they are good at. and its what the general public of men seams to like. they ARE ACTING.... they arent really stupid, ( though it does tell you something about the person to be involved in that). but this is what they are prowd of showing off. they are very 'attractive' ladies (in the eyes of the beholder of course). and I feel its ok to think they are stupid and take a long time to get ready cause thats the way the public sees them.

as for the ladies who take a long time to do themselves up and looks are really important to them. more power to yah take 5 hours if you need it. just know not all men are gonna want or be attracted to you cause you do this. buttermike is right, its whats on the inside that really stands out. I love a woman for who she is not how she smells or how she looks, if I wanted that id actually shave my back and seek out a trophywife.
I also find girls who are very attractive, and who seem to care too much mabe about their looks, im not attracted to at all.. infact Im quite intimidated by them Im guess I feel im not on the same level attractiveness wise

Hmmm...I don't agree that ALL men find the Playmates attractive - in the same way that not all women think Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise are attractive.

I also don't buy that looks don't matter to guys and that it's all about personality - sure, when you're ready for a relationship and considering marriage, personality is important. But anyone - man OR woman - who say looks don't matter are either lying or blind. First impressions, first meetings, first attractions - CANNOT be based on intellect or personality UNLESS you're meeting online or via letters. Someone's appearance is the FIRST thing you notice about someone and from that you gauge whether or not you want to take that first impression further. We're a visual society - men especially.

(ETA: I don't mean this in a shallow way - that a guy or girl wouldn't talk to someone they thought was ugly - but that I think that people need to be more honest and admit that being attracted to someone - finding someone attractive - is important in a relationship.)

JMO though.

wow a lot has been said since i last posted.....

it seems like there are a lot of naive people in here running around with their heads in the clouds. I said it before and I will say it again, ALL men indulge in some form of adult entertainment, maybe not playboy, maybe not strip clubs, but lets face facts, all men check out some form of adult entertainment. if it's print, video, web or live, a guy is checking out one of the above. if he says NO he is a LIAR.

I also said earlier that all guys have their own taste. leg men, --- men and so on. men also have their own types, not all men like one type that is why ronnie is marrying theresa and I married kathy. ronnie likes his type and i like my type. To each his own!!!!

another thing, curly is 100% correct. None of us are getting invited to the mansion so this thread is kinda pointless, but if we were you know ben and i would be on the first flight to cali.(tell him i say hi) lets also keep in mind the fact that this is about going to the mansion and checking it out in every respect not just the blonds, and why are all the playmates automatically blond?? yeah heff surrounds himself by blonds but all playmates are not blond!!! and blonds are definently not all airheads, R&T has prooven that the couple of times i met her(what up girl).

and for those of you future brides who don't think your men don't check out 'scantilly' clad women and don't find that appealing in some way, you are completely mislead. if you think that is some hormone driven teenage point of view you are sorely mistaken. your man may not be specifically attracted to the type that will walk around in public like that but don't you ever doubt for one minute that he is checking that woman out. of course admitting to checking out another woman is not exactly the 'classy' thing to do, but it is a reality.
just because a guy settles down with a more toned down (his type of) woman dosen't mean he is blind!!!!
