Spin-off from Yesterday Question

Have you ever consider surgery (plastic, etc) just so you can look perfect in your wedding dress?

I will be very honest and please don't judge but I have. I need reduction regardless if I was getting married or not but the idea that I will never be comfortable or happy with the way the dress will look if I don't.

thoughts?

i honestly think you should do what makes you happy. we live in a day and age where looks matter more than anything else, so if you feel that you'll be happier and more comfortable if you had to get some work done, then i say do it. as long as it isn't anything major, meaning, you do something that alters your appearance so much that it no longer looks like you.

I've never thought about it seriously - im all for doing what makes you happy and comfortable but I am not in favor for those who do it for other people or b/c they want to look good in the eyes of other people.

If you are really doing it for yourself then that's all that really matters - though I'm also a feminist and think you should be happy with whatever you have been given but some times life isn't that black and white.

A friend of mine got a reduction and they looked great. I think if something really bothers you, it is okay to change it. The case is different if you are not happy withyourself overall and want a whole lotta shiet done.

Like I said yesterday, I've always wanted boob impants but the issue doesn't plague me since I have cute boobs now. Small but cute. If I absolutely hated them, I'd have been more serious about saving the money a couple years ago.

Re: Spin-off from Yesterday Question

the only situation where i would really consider it is if I had some diwsfiguartion of some sort or some nasty scar in a place that would be visible on the day of the wedding, I would probably spend money to get it removed/fix/ whatever. But I wouldn't do something like get lipo or some kind of reduction to let's say fit in the wedding dress of my dreams, Like if i had my heart set on Mermaid style but my body type just doesn't look right in it (which btw it doens't... big a$$ over here!) I would go and **** the fat out of my a$$ just to look good in it. I would just find a dress that suits my body type,
