spin off to bridal shower and kids

If I invite the a kid to the bridal shower do I have to invite them to the wedding? My FH's cousins have a girl that will be 8 by my shower. I def. want no kids at the wedding (b/c I have wayyy to many little second cousins). Can I invite her to the shower? They will be coming from Boston - so I thought it would be nice for them to travel together.

i would say yes, if theyre coming to the shower i would definitely invite them to the wedding as well

I was just going to ask u guys this.. I want to invite the two little girls i used to babysit for to the shower. They will be 6 yrs old around the time but I am unsure if I will invite them to the wedding. Their parents are invited to the wedding and I sent them a save-the-date but they were only addressed to the parents. Would it be horrible to have them come to the shower (where some other kids will be) and not the wedding(which will only have my 3 yr old niece and FH 4 young cousins)??????

I guess maybe it depends on how you think the parents would take it. From the kids point of view, I think it would be nice. You could explain it that the difference from the wedding is that the wedding is for adults only. I think it would be nice if someone invited my children to their shower. I understand why many people don´t invite kids to the wedding. However, thats just my point of view.

we don't have a lot of kids in the family so we decided it would just be FH first cousin's kids (b/c they were invited to e-party) There are 4 girls ages 9,9,7, and 2 at the time of the wedding and a 1 yr old boy. The two youngest might not even come and stay with a sitter. My niece is also my goddaughter and the flower girl so she is a definite. I just feel bad because i watched the kids for so long (but haven't really in the last year) and thought it would be nice for them to participate in some part of my day..... I am so unsure

I think that only those invited to the wedding should be invited to pre-wedding activities (including children)

I would say No you dont have to invite them, When my best friend brother got married children where invite to the e-party and shower but not that wedding.
