spin-off to college years...what clubs did you go to in NYC when you were younger...

I went to a CUNY school, so I didn't have the fun college/away experience....

Weekends were fun in NYC at random clubs.....

-Mirage (then became Exit)
-ROXY
-Lava Lounge
-Random greek clubs in Astoria w/ my greek friends

I really can't remember any other names????

I went to a lot of bars and cheese LI clubs.
Though I had some questionable nights at the tunnel.

when i was like 17 i used to hit up tunnel factory and exit....oh my god....the memories...or lack of memories when u think about it! AHAHHAHA

Didn't go out in the city a lot until I was older and living in the city. I remember going to the Roxy and Webster Hall once in a while. I went to clubs but not every weekend.

On LI it was mostly bars in Huntington, Mulcahys, some place in New Hyde Park (can't even remember the name), the place that is now Brennan's in Hauppauge, some places on Hempstead Tpke. Oh, how can I forget, Spratz and Malibu?!

I'm going to ask one of my friends if she remembers more of the names of places.

I was a Hofstra bars girl all the way. Especially McHebes. That's right. I have no shame.

I went to college on Staten Island and everyone went into the city, so of course I couldn't follow the crowd....

ETS: On LI I went to Mulchay's once and Spatz (or whatever it's name is now) a handful of times.

hmm the only club i went to was Sound Factory - i thought it was the best club ever, didnt see the need to go anywhere else. . .

ETA: i used to wear a lot of pleather when i went!

sounds like me ..... lol - my friends used to joke with me because I was always dating a dj.
I used to go to:
Exit
tunnel
soundfactory
twilo
cheetah
ohm
on LI
Bridgeview
and alot of college bars...

OMG - now I feel old and I am only 28!!!!
But oh what fun times me and my friends used to have at these places.

The Palladium!!!!!! Loved it!!!!!!! I went there until it closed!!!!! I lived for it!!!!

Then we started going to Vertigo, Expo, and the Tunnel.

Towards the end of my clubbing carrer we would go to Sound Factory but only when JP was there.
