FH hates to wear jewelry and is trying to convince me he should het a tatoo'd wedding ring its a cool idea... but i really don't want 'him' to do that. I also think it might look unprofessional at work.... ok... thoughts?

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
If he works in an office, then I'd say no. It will probably look unprofessional.
Besides, I think I'd want him to wear his ring. When FH tried on his band, he said he doesn't like it and it feels weird but I told him to get used to it.

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
FH never wears jewelry except his crucifix but LOVES the ring he picked out. It's a tungsten with carbon fiber in the middle, so it's much more 'manly' lol.

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
i think a tattoo wedding band is cool in theory but not in actuality.
just let him go ring-less ... that way, you can get 2 wedding bands

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
my FH does not wear any jewelery, not even a watch. i told him that unless he has a job where he will risk loosing his ring or risk his safety he has to wear his wedding band.
if your FH works in an office then i think tattooing a band on his finger is unprofessional.
my brother, is a welder so he has his wedding band on his key chain. my SIL was not very happy with that idea but when my brother pointed out that he can risk welding his hand to a piece of metal she got the point.

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
idk. i dont really have a problem with the tattoo ring
i actually suggested this to FH for ME to do (and yes, i work in an office). but, sometimes i leave my rings at home i want(ed) a thin yellow line around my ring finger. yellow would blend in more and not be as noticeable as a black line...and if i wore the ring, the tattoo would 'disappear'
i guess it depends what FH does...but if he does want the tat, i would suggest a color and not black ink. its just too noticeable for my taste

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
I think it's a nice idea. I wanted to do this at a time, but I don't think we will do that. I think it's sweet, esp if he doesn't wear rings.

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
I think it's a cool idea. My FH wouldn't do it only because he's not into ink for himself (though he loves my tattoos!), so if he wanted to do it, I'd be all
Offices are becoming a lot more cool with people having visible tattoos, as well.

Re: spin-off to FH wedding band
I like the idea. My FH doesn't like tattoos though, and he doesn't wear jewelry either. But he WILL wear his wedding ring, we both agree on that!
