Girls that have ordered Ivory/off white/cream colored dresses rather than stark white, list your designer/material and if the color difference is very noticablein person and/or in pics.
This may help put many brides at ease.

The designer of my dress is Alfred Angelo and the material is satin. When I tried the dress on, both my mother and I couldn't tell the difference until the girl helping me put a stark white dress next to mine and there was such a big difference. I like the ivory better.

My designer is Alvina Valenta, the material is silk duchess satin. I think the gown looks fine in pictures. Not yellow, if anything sort of a cream/blush color. The color of my gown is called creme.

Mine is diamond white by Lazaro. We had the tuxedo rep compare a swatch of it with a white shirt and an ivory shirt....this may help a lot of girls:

Mine is Pronovias. The top is chantilly lace overlay - underneath and skirt is silk. They call it Ivory but it is a very light Ivory. Doesn't look yellow in person nor in pictures.

Mine is Justin Alexander, I ordered it in Ivory. It's soft satin and alencon lace, w/ off white beading. I didn't think it looked yellowish on my at all, but in the picutre on there website it looks yellowish. We took a few pics of me in it but my friend still hasn't given me the pictures!

Mine was a maggie sotero and it did not look yellow in most of my pics.
My sister is wearing a Pronovias & in the pics we took so far (it is still on order) they do not look yellow, but if you put it against a white veil you can see the difference.
