spin off to how do you know when ready?

Everyone mentions how long they were married....I have a similar quesiton

How old were you when you had your baby - or how old do you want to be when you have your first?

I have only been married 2 months but I am 29 and my DH is 30 - so I am not sure we can wait 2 years to have a baby - our clocks are both ticking now!

I will be 28 when the baby is born... DH will be 31.

I will be 27 when my baby is born this December. DH will be 2 weeks shy of 29.

My clock was ticking before we were married! We planned on having a baby right away anyway... we did wait until we were settled in to marriage a little bit before we tried though... we waited about 5 months!

I wanted to be 25 when I had my first ... I am going to be 37 in February and nnot pregnant

hopefully before i am 30, that's always been my goal. I am 27 now.

I had my first at 38. I thought that I would be younger, but didnt meet the right guy until I was in my 30's. There were some people who told us to wait before trying, but considering my age I think that was very bad advice. If I were younger I may have waited a year or two, but we really wanted children and didnt want to wait. It really was the right decision. We have a beautiful baby girl and are trying right now for #2.

I'd like to have both kids by the time I'm 32, tops...and I am 27 now. I told DH that I wanted at least the first before I'm 30 (he's a year older)

I am 31 will be 32 when baby is born and DH is 33. I knew I wanted to concentrate on my career and a few other goals and before getting married and having kids - I never really factored in age too much - it was more goals i have set for myself. I also wanted to be married at least a year to concentrate on being married and owning a home before adding a family to the mix. I don't think I could have met my goals if I had kids when I was younger.

I was 27 when I had my son - now I am 33 and want another one.

I was 21 when Alex was born, DH was 23...

I will be 32 when my little guy arrives and my husband will be 33.

I will be almost 32 and my husband will be almost 29 when the baby is due.

The baby is due in May and I'll be 28 and DH will be 29 (he'll be 30 in July).

That's what I am hoping for too. I'll be 27 next month, so maybe in a year or two we'll start trying.
